Circles
Close but private.
The people Emma chose learn when she arrives and leaves, never where she is every minute. If something goes wrong, the nearest of them is told first, with her live location.

Emergency help one hold away, journeys planned across trains and roads, and the people you choose knowing when you have arrived.
Android, a direct download from us; no store needed. For hotels, agencies and teams, see SurkleS for business below.

SurkleS for Agencies and Hotels
One queue for the day, every thread with its reply target, every client with their trip and state. A linked traveller's SOS reaches the desk with what a responder needs.

SurkleS for Teams
Every shift, every stop, every kilometre, drawn on the map by evening. Location is recorded only between Start my day and End shift, and the worker can see who looked.

Free for travellers during the pilot. Businesses pay for what they use. editPlaceholder figures, to be set
India is one of the most rewarding places in the world to travel, and one of the hardest to navigate alone. A first hour in a new city can be confusing. A late train, a wrong turn, an unfamiliar pharmacy counter: small things that become big when nobody around you knows you are there.
SurkleS started from that gap. We wanted a travel companion that puts safety before everything else, without turning a holiday into a monitoring exercise. So the app leads with the emergency numbers that work in every Indian state, a hold-to-call line to 112, and a city brief that tells you what to watch for today.
Then there are the people around you. Family at home, friends on the trip, and the agency that booked it: SurkleS lets you share arrivals and departures with the people you choose, for the time you choose, and nothing more.
Made in India, for everyone who travels here.
A circle is the small group that travels with you, or waits for you at home. SurkleS tells them when you have arrived and when you have left, not where you are every minute. If you want to be seen live, you switch it on for a fixed window, and it switches itself off.
Priya's Goa weekend is shared with the Goa trip group: the dates, the four stops, who is going. Asha's Konkan drive is up next, shared with Family.
At each stop the circle gets a ping: checked in at Anjuna, 2 of 4 stops. Where she is in between stays hers.
Share my location for a while: one hour, four hours, or until she turns it off. Every live share has an end.
SOS to an agency is one thing. This is the other: one button that tells the people Emma chose, nearest first, and opens her live location to whoever comes. No call centre, nobody outside the circle.
For a hotel or a travel agency, that person is a guest who should feel looked after. For a service company, it is a technician whose day should be clear to both sides. Same app, two doors.
A guest links with one invite code. From then on the desk sees the same live card the guest sees: where they are in the stay or the trip, what is next, and whether anything needs attention. For a hotel, trips are stays and arrivals are check-ins; the screens read in the hotel's own words.
Service companies run their day from SurkleS: shifts, jobs, the day drawn on a map, and hours and kilometres without a spreadsheet. Below, one real day from the pilot data: the office's view first, then the same day on the worker's phone.
Time on duty and road distance per person per day, with a CSV export.
Stock lots, earliest-expiry-first picking, and alerts when something runs low.
The office works in any browser; the worker's app is Android, downloaded directly from us.
Travellers, hotels, agencies and teams each have their own side.
The city brief, the emergency numbers and the planner follow you from there.
Link your agency or hotel with their invite code, or start a circle with family and friends.
Both. SurkleS works on the web and in the app, for travellers, for agencies and hotels, and for field teams. The Android app is downloaded directly from us at app.surkles.in/app, and it updates itself. It is not on the Play Store yet.
No. SOS alerts the agency or hotel you are linked with, inside their app, and attaches your medical and contact details. For emergency services, hold the 112 button. If your SOS is not acknowledged within 90 seconds, the app prompts you to call 112.
Everything except SOS: the emergency numbers, hold-to-call 112, the city brief, the planner, documents, circles, the assistant and the community.
Nobody, unless you share it. A live share in a circle has an end time you set. An agency sees your trip plan and the arrivals you report. Field workers are tracked only while a shift is on, and can see who has looked.
On servers in India (Mumbai region). AI questions are answered by Google's Gemini model and map lookups use Google Maps, so those requests leave the app. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.
Yes, for travellers, during the pilot. Agencies, hotels and teams: talk to us.
Yes. Write to contact@surkles.in from the address you signed up with and we delete it. Field workers can also delete their own location history in the app, and download a copy first.
We reply from a real inbox, usually within a working day.
